How does the food content you eat today compare with what was available 50 years ago? How does today’s food nutrients compare to food nutrients of 50 years ago? Would today’s food supply have enough nutrients to sustain life? If we fed a group of of animal today food quality, without giving them medication, would they survive very long? If they can’t survive, then how could you survive without getting sick?
Is Food Value Deceptive, Garbage In = Garbage Out!
I was sitting down to have lunch the other day and as I ate my lunch I wondered “What would happen if the food I’m eating could tell me its secrets about how it was grown, how it was harvested, how harmful are the pesticides used, how it was handled by the food processing industry? What if the platter of food could tell me what kind of effects this food would have on my health? Were there any preservatives added to my food? Did the grower radiate the food with nuclear waste to make it last longer on the grocery store shelf? Did the grocery store spray the food with a chemical to prevent spoilage? Was the food grown on mineral depleted fields? Were their any synthetic hormones added to my food that I didn’t know about that could upset the balance of the hormones in my body if ate the meat or dairy?
What Would Plants Tell Us If They Could Talk?
The thought went thru my mind “Would I be horrified if the plants, meats and dairy would tell me how poor the quality was of the food I was eating?” What ingredients in my food are changing my ability to absorb my food and repair my body? Many people think that plants and animals are just plants and animals and have no awareness of how they were raised, harvested or brought to market. Mankind in general has been educated to think in the corporate world that the only creation that has any value is the human being and only if he can be controlled. The plant kingdom is the only species of life that produces its own food. If man could produce food inside of him, he wouldn’t need to consume food. Man would produce it inside himself and be self sustaining. So there are very special things about the plant kingdom that is often overlooked by the general public and especially corporation$ in America. How has the restaurant altered your food? Has it changed the quality with some chemical spray? Have they microwaved your food scrambling the molecular structure of the food? Did they thaw out the food with a microwave before they cooked it? Food that is microwave for the most part taste so bland and loses much of its food value. The molecular structure of microwaved food in no longer the same food but now filled questionable byproducts that don’t resemble food anymore. How does all of this affect the most precious thing that you and I have and that is your HEALTH?
Quality Food = Quality Health as Long as the Food is Healthy!
What is the value and purpose of food? Some people would say when I get hungry I know it times to eat. There is no consideration for what kind of food, where it came from, how it was grown and what it could do to their body! Just satisfy my hunger pangs and that’s all she wrote. Empty foods mean your have to eat more to satisfy your need for nutrients. Hence we have an epidemic in overweight people who continue to eat empty nutrient deficient foods and foods filled with toxic preservatives. Your body doesn’t know what to do with all the extraneous chemicals and extra hormones in food so it wraps those toxins in fat to prevent them from hurt your body. On the other hand, eating quality foods with all the needed nutrients, means you eat just enough and feel satisfied that your body’s health is taken care of. You don’t over eat because your body knows that your food is satisfying your needed supply of nutrients for all your bodily functions.

When we look at the way food is advertised we begin to see that what we are shown plays an important role in the selection of the foods. We eat more foods that are linked to social, family, or personal development activities or some celebration. The value of food gets sublimated and lost to the event that we attend. This plays a huge role in whether we select food that has any physical nutrient value for our body or not! Food is one of those areas of life that can be enjoyable and fulfilling its real purpose of fueling our bodies with the right ingredients to make us healthy and happy at the same time.
