Distorted muscle postures trigger Fibromyalgia like pains much like muscle stress patterns, or breakdown of nerve communication within the brain. This does not mean you have Fibromyalgia like muscle pains! When the muscle trauma patterns no longer holds the muscles in their correct balanced positions, the traumatic energy pulls the normal muscles out of their normal geometry toward a disruptive Fibromyalgia like structure. This disruption of muscle structure setups the long term breakdown of all kinds of body tissues not just muscles. Our real focus is shifting body balance, retraining muscle, strengthening ligaments and fortifying bone structures so all tissues can work harmoniously together? Yes! What happens though when the posture breaks down? What are some of the signs that you might observe of the changed posture? Could this be giving you clues about why you may have tendencies to have Fibromyalgia like muscle pains? Poor Posture Twists in Your Muscles which leads you down the path toward Fibromyalgia like pain patterns.
Here Is Injury Posture Before Correcting Brain & Body Balance!
Does Your Head Weigh 30-40 lbs Because Of Posture? Improper Posture? Bad Posture? Distorted Posture? Injured Posture? Surgically induced posture with metal rods, screws and plates? No Wonder my head hurts, I have to carry around a heavy bowling ball for a brain!
Does increased weight bearing stress caused by forward head posture affect the overall health of your brain and body? Yes! Let’s take a closer look at how this affects stress levels in your body! The normal living human skull weighs 10-12 pounds. Yet with poor body posture that 12 pound skull can appear to weight 30 to 40 lbs of extra weight to your upper body and neck muscles. “No wonder my neck and upper back hurts all the time!” Could this be causing headache too? Yes! This bad posture stretches those muscles and puts them under excessive pressure which leads to all kinds of upper body aches, pains, and changes in bone structures. These muscles under tremendous stress eventually begin to put pressure on the nerves causing pain, reducing blood flow and making dramatic changes in performance or mobility of your spinal column and brain. Translated, that means that lack of good posture can be causing all kinds of pain in the upper body, neck, head, chest, arms, hands, mid and low back and lower extremities. Even your breathing and blood pressure can be hampered by the changes that take place to compensate for a heavy head and over stressed muscles.
With a very simple posture screening, we can in just a few minute and find why 100’s of different aches and pains are posture related and are not Fibromyalgia caused. Sometimes those posture changes have been their so long they have bent the spine, warped the shape of a vertebrae, or caused deterioration of certain spinal ligaments that hold the spine together. With the spine bent or shaped the wrong way or twisted, the blood flow to your brain can be pinched off to some degree. This can led to serious brain damage as well as blocking normal communication between the brain and muscles all over your body.
Here a number of physical check points you can look at to see if your posture is causing pain in the nerves of your spine, or muscles, or pain in your head!
1. Is your head tilted to the right or left?
2. Is your head tilted forward down toward your chest.
3. Can you rotate your head to the right or left about 90 degrees?
4. Does your belly hang out over your belt ?
5. Is one shoulder higher than the other?
6. When you stretch your arms out in front of you, does one hand extend further?
7. Do you place more weight on one foot?
8. Does your rib cage feel like it is twisted?
9. Can you turn your head more one way than the other?
10. Do you have a hump at the base of your neck and upper back?
All of these questions tell you that your posture is distorted and causing changes in your nerves, your blood flow, and other functions of your brain and body. Change your posture back to normal and you change your health dramatically!
Cause of Bad Posture: Falls, banging the head, blows to the head, collisions, car accidents, sports injuries, dental work with the mouth open for hours, TMJ displacement, muscle spasms, ligament damage, disc degeneration.
Creating Good Posture: place the spine in it proper structural posture, exercises to strengthen the muscles to hold the spine in alignment and feed the body with the proper minerals and nutrition to strengthen the muscles and other supporting tissues.
