Holidays Too Much Travel, Foods, Relatives, And Presents!
The holidays bring all of us a bundle of new experiences bearing gifts and fun, and a bloated stomach, sore muscles, and an achy back. My thought is its great to be with friends and relative we don’t see much of during the year. So its a time a really look forward to relax, watch some TV, drink a few beverages I don’t sip during the year and catch up on how the whole family has been doing the prior year. One thing always stands out in my mind is once the general conversation is taken care of in the first few hours of chit chat the real issues of the family begin to surface. Sometimes this is done at the table during dinner but most of that happens after our tummies are full of turkey or we opened presents and had some new experiences that the present bring to us.
Family is important to all of us because that’s where our lives were formed and shaped by what happened to us during our formative years. Yet what we do during the holidays also has a big effect on the direction of our health over the next 12 months or until the family gets together again for other events. We get to see how Aunt Susie is progression with her maturing years. She tells us about her vanishing memory and right in the middle of the conversation, she forgets what she was talking about. When we look around the room we see Uncle George whose hair line has receded more and his hair on top has all but faded away since we saw him last. The health of the family continues to change each and every year we get together and we hear more about the operation for a gall bladder or someone has been diagnosed with heart disease or diabetes. The food we eat are the specialties that grandma fed us as kids. Out kids are too busy playing with the other kids to be concerned about food until they are so worn out from play that begin to smell those heavenly smell emanating form the kitchen. What’s For Dinner Mom! Is a familiar sound we hear? “Get your hand out of there; you’ll just have to wait till dinner?”But mom I’m hungry! We’ll be eating in about 15 minutes. Well Ok! As John sneaks a small bite of that cranberries while mom turned her back to get more of the food ready for dinner!
So the scene is set for a delicious dinner. Of course no one would over-eat more during the holidays than we normally do. But this is Thanksgiving and Christmas time so we all can indulge a little more!” But . . . .
I feel Stuffed! Oh that meal was great! It really was a superb meal. Now let’s have an after dinner drink and some TV or a ball game, or a movie. Maybe we should take a walk. I just need to sit down and take a load of my achy feet!
Meanwhile the stomach and intestines brace for the onslaught of the foods and drink that aren’t necessarily combined properly to feed our bodies without extra stress. Do you mean Food can create stress in your body and brain? Yes it can! Well this is the way we ate when I was a kid? Is there anything wrong with that? Nothings wrong, it’s just how will your body handle all the incompatible combinations of foods and drink that don’t mix well, that neutralized your ability to digest the foods you have just eaten over the holidays? Will you see any changes in your health over the next 30 – 90 days after the holidays? Or is it a coincidence that too much food improperly combined can depress your immune system and make you more susceptible to ill health? Did your immune system get compromised or depressed with too much food and drink? What would be some of the symptoms you might experience as a result of the improper combining of foods? Oh. I know what to do! I’ll just take Tums to squelch the burning stomach acid! Good idea, but Tums will absorb the hydrochloric acid in your stomach? Now, how will you digest your meats and protein when you kill the hydrochloric acid that breaks down that turkey or other proteins you need for rebuilding your body daily? There has to be a certain amount of hydrochloric acid to break down meats, milk, or even vegetable protein in your stomach. So hours later, others maybe complaining of eating too much food and their stomach feels stuffed from being too full. So your take a small nap to let this feeling of fullness pass you by. Some people have a mild headache and miss what the body and brain are saying to you. “That food was good, but it was just too much!” “ I’ll take a aspirin and make the headache go way. Oops! What was the brain trying to tell you about what you ate?
Here is how your brain works when you eat. Back in the 1960-70 area, research was done to find out what your brain did as you ate food? What was your stomach doing? Where was your body shipping the food you ate and how was it going to be used in your body? Here’s what happened! The sample food was radiated with a minimal effect radio isotope so the food could be traced as it went thru the digestive process affecting many parts of your brain and body:
- The First place the radio isotope showed up was the brain targeting a special spot in your body that needed help. In addition that brain will assist that digestive process by secreting special hormones to utilize the basic building blocks for cell repairs, maintenance, cell replacement and removal.
- The second place the food showed up before it left your mouth was the place where that food was going to be used by the body to repair and replace older deficient or dying tissue or areas that had been injured.
- The third place that food was seen to go was to the stomach to be broken down into the basic building blocks for repair and replacement of tissues the body was sloughing off.
- The fourth place was your small intestine where the foods were broken down into the basic building blocks of cells for use in your body. For example: 95% of the hormones in the body are built in the gut: Thyroid, Adrenal, Female and Male hormones, etc.
- The fifth place was how were you going to eliminate the wastes the body couldn’t use was sent to the organs of waste removal; colon, kidneys, lungs, skin, lymph.
- Meanwhile the brain in your gut was communicating to the head brain all of the activities that were in progress with the digestive processes.
- What if the way you combine foods, or the chemical that are added to foods, or pesticides, or environmental poisons like fracking, pollution in the air, etc these
poisons get into the food supply that we eat. This poisons the foods we eat! This poisons your body and brain when you are exposed to heavy toxic elements. This can make the body sick very quickly? It’s not a bacteria or virus that causes the problems when your body is poisoned by toxicity!
You get a new body and brain every 12 months? Why are you still aging? Why are you still contracting sickness and limitation on the repairs of your body? The brain has a blue print of what, where, and how all the cells in your body are working and how much wear there is on each of the systems of your body. Your immune system is a very important part of the keeping the body free of toxins, chemicals, bacteria, viruses, etc. Yet, today’s foods are loaded with toxins, e.g. gluten from wheat that clogs your brain, that most people are unaware of the after effects. The foods are laced with incompatible chemical toxins that cause your immune system to breakdown on its job of protecting you from getting sick. There are thousands of additives in foods as well as the quality of the food has decline steadily since the 1950’s as more and more chemicals are added to the foods without the public been aware this is affecting their health.
So here are some suggestions to help with the digestive assimilation and utilization of what you eat.
Enzymes clean-up Digestion! No Enzymes, your stomach feels like a stuffed turkey!
Every biological change at the cellular level in your body is built around a group of enzymes that help in all of the cell changes that take place in your body. Without the proper enzymes, your body would die. You are given a set quantity of enzymes when you are young. As you eat cooked foods, you begin using up your allotment of enzymes in your data bank of enzymes. Taking digestive enzymes help you to replace the enzymes you wasted on eating cooked foods. There are groups of special enzymes we recommend based upon the enzymes design for use with cancer patients at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. You need extra enzymes to help with the overload of foods you over eat during the holidays. This makes the difference between feeling bloated and stuffed and feeling normal with the help of the proper digestive enzymes!
Certain Grains Can Make Your Blood Sugar Spike!
If you’ve eaten a lot of wheat, you’re likely to gain some undesirable weight. If you’ve eaten wheat, your liable to see your blood pressure and blood sugar go sky high. Read Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis. He made the connection between wheat, heart disease and diabetes solutions.
Have trouble with grain flours?
Have trouble with grain flours; go to almond flour. It’s a protein and the cookies are divine! “Are you into the cookies again!” “Stop! there won’t be any left for the kids!”. “Well, I like the cookies! They taste so good and my blood sugar stays calm and stable.” “Can I just have three more cookies?” “I’ve only had 6 so far? Stop! You’ll spoil your dinner! Well. OK!”
Your Brain and Body Knows What Health Information Is Hidden In Your Cells?
Want to find out what your body is really doing after the holidays? Do a 10 minute quick computer analysis that tells whether your organ systems are inflamed, over-stressed, or depressed? Or, sample what toxicity has been deposited in your hair over the last 30 days? This is done by a Lab we work with that’s been in business over 40 years. This tells us what toxic metals you have accumulated and how that is affecting your food absorption. It also shows if you are high or low on key minerals that affect your digestion and absorption of the food you have eaten the past 30 days. So it not what you put in your mouth, but how much of what you eat is absorbed for use in your body.
Crooked Posture Can Lead To Breakdown In Other Systems Of Your Body!
Driving long hours in the car going to see relatives can make your spine and muscles cranky. Sleeping in different beds over the holidays can affect your neck and skull. The brain and the neck house some very important nerves that keep the rest of your body healthy. Get a checkup and start out the New Year with your body and brain turned on for maximum performance. The Spine, Skull ( house of the brain), Gut (the house of digestion brain) are intimately dependent on one another for maximum performance and health.
